The journal was inspired by the oracle deck: they are a perfect match, but they can be used separately.

Here's a couple of ways you can use them together:

A. Pull a card from the deck and find the corresponding entry in the journal: this is the one you'll be working with.

B. If you already know which emotion you want to work with, but you're feeling a little stuck, find the matching card in the deck or reach for the guidebook to get your creative juices going. 

This is a guided journal: through repetition of the process, you will learn to slow down and pay attention to your body. You will become aware of triggers, memories, patterns. You will learn to put words on your feelings, leading to more understanding and self-compassion.
